My mouth is on fire. Not literally, but metaphorically, but maybe also literally. Both? Maybe? I made a mac and cheese and decided I would kick it up several notches by basically adding hot peppers and other ingredients to basically make sure my mouth felt like the burning flames of Hell.I succeeded in this plan.
Mind you, I am not one for hot food. So, I really have no valid reason or excuse for doing this, other than possible mental derangement. Also, add to that the fact that I have not ate in a few days,as I have been wallowing in a depression, and now my mouth to my intestines are on fire.
Okay, I am more than likely being a bit over the top, as is customary with me, and I am sure some hot food enthusiast will say it is not even hot.Well, whatever, dude.Whatever, buddy. It was hot for me, and seeing how I am talking about me, then I can say it is hot.
Ingredients.
- A box of macaroni, cooked and ready to go.
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 1 hot pepper, chopped up.
- 1 long green pepper, chopped up.
- A cup of diced green onion.
- 1 and 1/4 cup of Daiya Cheddar.
- 1/2 and 1/4 cup of Mozza Daiya.Keep them separated.
- 3 tablespoons of soy milk.
- 2 tablespoon of yeast.
- 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper.
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
- 1 teaspoon of cumin.
- A few dashes of pepper.
- A few dashes of salt.
- 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs.
So, you will want to begin by heating up your oven to 375 degrees. Just do it.Now, eat up the olive oil in a pan, and over medium heat, saute the peppers and green onion till they soften.
Toss in the pasta, lower heat to simmer, add the seasonings, Daiya cheddar, and the half a cup of Daiya Mozza. You can also add the yeast and the soy milk.
Place this into a casserole dish, mixing the bread crumbs with the remaining Daiya Mozza, and top off the macaroni with this.Put a lid on it, and cook it for 25 minutes, remove the lid, and cook another 25 minutes.
You are done.Good for you.I do not know, I guess it is good for you, unless your mouth melts off.I doubt that, I am fairly pathetically feeble when it comes to hot or spicy food.

I only put one teaspoon cayenne and it was way too much. Otherwise, very yummy. Thanks!
Yeah, I may have overdone it with the heat.I regretted it, then kind of liked it, then regretted it yet again. You live and you learn,Thanks for the comment and trying it out.
